whatever

I'm super frustrated with everything right now, and I don't feel like there's anyone I can really talk to about all the stuff that's frustrating me which is a SUPER great feeling to have. Anyway, here's what I've been up to these past four days:

Monday:

Worked from home. Did research. Did editing. I think I did other stuff?

Tuesday:

Worked on site, but an abbreviated day. Did online research and ordering and we had a power meeting regarding the company set up and tactics. It went for a few hours and my brain fried out, but I think I had some good contributions. Hopefully things take off. I got out early because I had a library errand, and I ended up signing back up for KRL and checked out some comics and books, and then ran a craft supply errand and a comic shop errand, and then got back home at a good dark hour.

Wednesday:

Slept in, then read comics in bed for a while. Eventually rolled out of bed, did some work, then packed up and headed for Seabeck. Paid bills. I decided to drive to Seatac and get Ma and Pa, instead of waiting around for the airporter. Driving an extra 2 and a half hours in a day, but getting back into bed at 1am versus leaving the house at 2-3 am. It was an easy drive over, an easy pick up, and an easy drive back. Once again, I slept in. I've been sleeping a lot. I really enjoy being warm and cozy in all my blankets. Wish I could spend more time in bed reading comics.

Thursday:

Dad made pancakes, and I had a palm tree shaped one. Sent off a work email. Saw their vacation photos, which were really good! Lots of birds and beaches. Seems like they had a really good time. Summer can't come for here fast enough. I packed up and headed home to Pulali. Got some gas. Got some ice cream. Settled in. Did research. Had dinner. Hum drum ho hum.

Blaaaah.

quadruple representation of days

I am massively behind! I'm sorry!

Thursday:

Worked on site doing lots of photos and research and computer stuff. Did my hair in a sloppy updo to cover up that it was unwashed, though I don't think it was that convincing. Got my payday, so I deposited that on the way home into the ATM (booyah!) and swung through Silverdale and did some errands and then headed home.

Friday:

Rolled out of bed at a somewhat decent hour, and did some work from home, then left for Seabeck to check on what was shaking out there. ANNNND I forgot the keys to Seabeck, though really that just left me down the mailbox key. I could undo the gate and house no problem with the secreted away keys. So I got the house warmed up, turned up the hot tub, and called Karen to see what pizza she wanted. I ordered Italian and breadsticks from Seabeck Pizza, and when I picked it up there were some Girl Scouts pushing cookies, so I hit up the ATM and slapped down a $20 and bought five boxes: two thin mints, one samoas, one trefoils, and one tagalongs.

Unfortunately the hot tub never got hot enough for us to properly enjoy it, but we did enjoy the pizza and we talked at length about all sorts of things. J'adore Karen.

I went back home to sleep for the night.

Saturday:

Slept in, then I packed up all the trash and recycling, and hauled it to the dump. 6.15 for the can, and all the recycling in their proper containers. The lady at the dump is so chipper. It's been 5-6 weeks since my last dump run. Devoted composting works wonders!

And I continued driving to Seabeck, and got the mail (more books!) and snacked on some of the snacks at the house for a while, then packed up and went back home. Oh! On the way to Seabeck I stopped at Big Beef for a photo because the sun was setting and it was SO BEAUTIFUL!!

Back at home, I started a fire and made a hot toddy and sat and read This One Summer till it was time to sleep.

Sunday:

Right after breakfast, Celia texted me asking to ask if I could help with some first aid, so I dashed right over! She had cut open her finger, so I helped compress a bandaid (after looking into the wound to see if it needed more cleaning). So happy I'm not squeamish.

I gave her some girl scout cookies to help the healing process.

Then I took a lengthy bath and finished reading This One Summer.

Then I worked on more work from home stuff. Had dinner courtesy of Celia.

Lit another fire. It's going out now, but the house is warm enough.

Tomorrow is a work from home day.

bacon bacon oh so good

Tuesday:

On site! I was by myself for the first chunk, so I took pictures and organized boxes, and edited this and that. When the Boss returned, I got to doing computer stuff, including setting up some cloud based email and ordering things and other stuff. It felt like a productive day. After work, I swung by home and got the mail for Ma & Pa, and changed some of the lights that were on, and generally made sure nothing had burned down. Got back home late, but it's all good as I was working from home the next day.

I watched the Parks and Rec finale and cried pretty hard about it.

Oh! Also swung through Silverdale on the way back and made a beloved Trader Joe's run, as my food supplies were getting low.

Wednesday:

Slept in, had a bacon and egg scramble and a cuppa coffee. Did lotsa computer work. Got the group email routing in the right direction. Did some research into different sites. Listened to plenty o' podcasts. It's earlier than usual for my blogging, but I figure might as well get it done now and not worry about it and forget it later.

Monday from home

Got up, had an egg salad sandwich for brunch, had some coffee, got to work researching better website template builders and stuff. And worked on item research. Pretty nice day outside.

A group of kayakers went by. I waved and took pictures through my binoculars.

Watched television, ate pasta with extra garlic in the sauce. Working on site tomorrow, so I'll be tucking in to bed soon, and also I'll swing by Seabeck after.

Ma & Pa, how are you liking your vacation?

everyone says I should read Bryson, well fine I will!!

Saturday:

Ohhh had a really lovely day in Port Townsend with Aaron. He drove and parked at my place, and I drove us in to Port Townsend (I have that Discover Pass for parks adventures). First up, we got brunch at the Blue Moose Cafe down near the docks. No waiting to be seated, which was awesome. I ordered the eggs benedict, as per usual, and he biscuits and gravy and hash. I ate with my fingers and made a very sloppy mess of it, but that's how I roll and he didn't seem embarrassed to be in public with me afterwards, so that's a good sign!

It was a perfect day for being outside. That perfect, crisp clear weather with blue skies and a few clouds far in the distance. Absolutely wonderful weather. We walked around the docks a bit and looked at boats, then I drove up to Fort Worden and we walked out on the dock there and along the beach and up to the lower bunkers, which were awesome as always. I like how there's just a couple "warning hazardous area" signs, and that's that. No need to go overboard, just warn people and if they hurt themselves on the old cement structures then it is their fault!

We hiked up to the upper bunkers too, and basked in the sun for a while. Aaron had never been to Port Townsend before, so wanted to show him the major hits first. Food, check, boats, check, bunkers, check, Elevated Ice Cream? Oh you betcha check! I got the dutch malt, which was like a whopper in ice cream form, and he had the mexican chocolate.

AND! I saw Jaden! Who I haven't seen in years. She didn't remember me, but of course I knew her as a baby and a toddler, and she is a tween now. I sorta get that whole thing where older family people remember you, but you don't remember them. I said a quick hello and returned to ordering ice cream.

We walked up and down the main street in old town, and went into bookstores (I got a Bill Bryson book FINALLY and rebought Stiff, Aaron bought a different Bryson book) and toy stores (I bought a couple Playmobil blind bags). All in all, a wonderful day. And the weather maintained throughout.

As he had left Banjo at home, Aaron departed shortly after getting back to the house.

I watched my stories and went to bed.

Sunday:

Slept in! That was awesome. Then I washed my car, because it needed it, and found out I do get a few channels on the TV, and tuned it to ABC for the Oscars. Man, so much Oscars! Hours of red carpet, hours of the show, and Neil Patrick Harris was a bit of an ass. I'm happy for the winners, surprised at the best actor and actress wins, but generally it was a good year...though really not diverse at all.

Anna Kendrick should host next year.

Celia came over for the Oscars too, and brought Mac n Cheese and popcorn. Nice to chastise with someone else.

I really want to see Mr. Turner now.

Here are some photos:

Mary

Thursday:

Great Aunt Mary's memorial was really nice. I got to see Jenny, Janet, Brian, Katy, Lee, Carmen, Josh, Leif and Eric briefly, Hans, Brynne, Dan, Perry, Rosie, Celia...though I see Celia often. There was a generous buffet and memories were shared of a wonderful lady. I've only met Mary a few times, but she has had quite the impact in our family/

I caught the 11:15am Edmonds ferry over, walked to the Edmonds Yach Club. Wore a nice dress, tights, and was probably the best dressed on the ferry.

After the memorial, Carmen, Josh, Brian and I went to the Salish Brewery for a few pints and a game of Cards Against Humanity. I had an IPA and a cider. I didn't win, and Carmen almost won but Brian stacked the game to Josh. Such a sibling move!

I was dropped off at the ferry, didn't have to wait long, and cruised on back  past Quilcene to home. Did some more work and then tucked in to bed late in the night.

Friday:

Worked on site! Did some computer work, then photographed a bunch of things. Shoes, books...other things? It's totally slipped my mind in the few hours that has passed since I did that. Hahaha. A nice little day. Got some more at home duties to do on Monday. And plenty of stuff to do to get more stuff on the store.

Tomorrow I'm getting brunch in Port Townsend with Aaron, yay!

ciao parents, have fun

Tuesday:

On site was just me and photographing things and documenting and all that jazz. Lots of podcasts were listened to, and I generally just worked and stuff. Wrote down a little report of the stuff I've researched.

At 6 I left for Seabeck. Dinner was salmon burger patties with beans. Dad and Mom went to sleep early, and I stayed up and watched Bring It On and looked at family photos, then I tucked in for a couple hours of sleep. At 2:15am, we left Seabeck for SeaTac, with Dad driving. I played the Nome Serum Run episode of Stuff You Missed in History. The parents are off to Mexico for two weeks! I got to drive the 2011 Prius, and so many buttons! I remember learning to drive on the 2001, and that seemed so high tech. Now it's fuddy duddy and worn in, haha. Got home at 5am ish and crawled in to bed and slept in.

Wednesday:

Slept in and didn't roll out of bed till almost 1. I had some breakfast and grabbed the mail and returned to Pulali. I watched Parks and Recreation. Had some food and tea. Worked on editing photos and other at home work stuff.

Now to go to bed and get up and go to Mary's Memorial tomorrow. Then it's my weekend! Though I'll probably focus on working from home some more. Get stuff online for the store and all that.

moss, maurice

Worked from home doing the online errands, whee! Google this, order that, realize I was putting this info where that info should have gone. Called for this and that. I'm never sure if I've done enough or not, but I can always do more later to compensate.

I also helped Celia scrape the moss off her roof. Just a little bit of push broom action getting the growth off the gentle slope. Need to find a stiffer metal thing on a long stick so that we can scrape the steeper roofs from the ground. I'm not getting tied onto a rope and dangled for moss!

I hardboiled some eggs and didn't forget them this time (did I mention I forgot some hard boiled eggs and only remembered once I heard them popping in the dry pan??).

Got a big day tomorrow, full of driving! Time to tuck in to bed.

gal and val

Ahhh! I meant to blog before I left on Saturday, but I forgot. So here is a three day post!

Friday!

Did some work, then met Karen in Bremerton to celebrate Galentine's Day. Mom, you didn't tell me that you ran into Karen on the Ferry! Or rather as of this blog entry, you haven't texted to tell me you say Karen.

First I swung by Comics Keep in Bremerton to procure the first issue of Help Us! Great Warrior, by Madeleine Flores and colored by Trillian Gunn. Gotta support cool people making comics! And I also got the first volume of Sex Criminals (not exactly what it sounds like) and some Lumberjanes issues. And I started up my box again (I had a comic subscription box here before I left Washington for Portland, pre-blog era) to make sure I got more HU!GW and Lumberjanes, and whatever else I want on order. Dana, the shop owner, remembered me. How nice!

Then I met Karen for sushi and chat. I adore her, she's so great. Her company is always wonderful, and having a friend who has seen you go through stuff, and you've seen them grow. Such a good thing.

Together we saw Inherent Vice...and I kinda wished we'd seen Jupiter Ascending instead. IV was just... unneeded. The filming was good, the shots were excellent, casting on point and all that but the plot was unintelligible! Like it would just go on and on and on and we were both looking at each other going "this is really weird, what is happening I'm so lost..." yeah. Nice to look at but uhhhg nah.

We parted ways and I went to Trader Joe's and got food and I noticed my tire was looking a little low, so I topped it off before heading back home.

Saturday!

I made an appointment at Walmart to get my tire fixed (it was leaking, but not at an undriveable rate). Did some laundry. Got all gussied up and left with plenty of daylight to see Aaron for Valentine's Day. Daylight so that we could walk Banjo. And it's nice to spend time with a fella that you like. We walked Banjo down to the beach and the tide was low and clams were spurting water.

On the return, we made a calzone for dinner! It was mozzarella and goat cheese and prosciutto. I picked up the supplies at TJ's based on a recipe I found. Can't let Aaron do all the cooking, though he is very good at it. It was a tasty meal, but could have used some more flair. We watched a movie and I stayed over.

Breakfast was a drive up to Kingston, too long a wait at the brunch place, and a short walk to the crepe place and then crepes! We (sans Banjo) walked down to the dock and looked at the boats.

I left relatively early to make my appointment at Walmart. Got my tire fixed no problem. Picked up some discounted candy and went home. OH! I also got some fudge in Kingston.

I managed to catch Darrah during her visit with Celia. She and Jill hosted me over in Massachusetts way back when. After a property walk around, we got into the fudge and chatted. Now Darrah is flying back to Boston and I'm up late after doing some work and I'm tired so time to hit the hay!

One more flat tire, and the hazard insurance has fully paid for itself ($10/tire for four tires and three repairs).

new project time

Wednesday:

On site! I took photos of another box of things, mostly books. Put those into the spreadsheet. Worked on invoices and other Google things. Boss watched Nightcrawler and we bonded over our mutual enjoyment of it. A nice day on site. Felt pretty productive.

Back at home, I hung out with Celia a bit and had noodles and we gave the kitties catnip and they loooved it. Sam got all loopy and let me pet him! And Panda and Teddy were like totally mellow yellow. Hahah.

Thursday:

Applied for health insurance! And I qualify for Washington Apple Care...which is pretty much Medicaid rebranded so...hopefully that works out??? It's something. It's...not getting fined by the tax man. And I worked more on my cell phone refund. It's such an annoying loop of communication.

And I did some at home stuff for work. Image editing. And I secured the Tumblr "StampClub" to use for posting scans of old yearbooks. I like the title Stamp Club, but I might change it...but I got it for now (it's free).

Stamp Club because...it's a silly old timey club. Melissa (Happy Birthday Mel!!!) suggested something along the lines of "Most Likely To..." but I can't think of a good way to fill that in.

Did laundry. Had pasta. Took a bath. Read The Blazing World. I need to go grocery shopping.

Wednesday, February 11, 2015

the stick isn't important

Drinking some chamomile tea before bed. Got another on site day tomorrow and then nada for the rest of the week (well nada on site).

I'm moving up to preparing invoices for clients! And I did other office stuff and expressed my desire to not handle critical phone stuff, and the boss was receptive to it. Nice boss! And I finished the day with some measuring of items. I also helped move a desk. Nice little day on site.

Tomorrow will be another photographing day, so that I can have stuff to work on from home. Getting those hours!

Weather was mild.

Note to self: remove that stick.

sinus drain

Since I drank coffee after the movie, it left me caffeinated too late in the day so I had a hell of a time getting to sleep. And then I suddenly got massively congested. So I popped a Benadryl and eventually got to sleep and woke up feeling so bedraggled and thirsty.

Did some at home work, had some pasta, reformatted my MP3 player because it got glitchy and now I have to rebuild my music library, but it's good to edit a new. Not like I lost tracks, it's all on my computer.

Lack luster day.

OH! I called to see about getting my phone reimbursed, but the call kept dropping right after I selected this menu option.

ANNND I got started on my health insurance. I'm not sure if I'm better off estimating high or low on my monthly income. If I lowball it, I might get in trouble, but if I go too high, what if it's costly? Well just need to take a few more steps and see what's up.

ditched again

Saturday:

Slept in, and then when I finally rolled out of bed, I put on my rain jacket and went to observe the ditches. I scraped the ground so the flow was better, and pulled a few twigs out. When I came home from the day's fun, I noticed Celia had dug out the ditches nice and proper, so I've got to give her a good thank you for that! The rain has been ferocious and constant.

I went over to Suquamish to see Aaron. Not just dinner on my way home from work. And you know what he surprised me with? Cheerwine!! You can buy it at Bevmo apparently. What a guy! And he made an awesome shepard's pie. I helped chop the yams and rosemary. I had two massive servings, and then we watched Horns which wasn't all that great. I didn't stay over. Not a bad drive back through Port...Port...Gamble? What a weird town. Looks like a model town, not a real place anyone would live.

Sunday:

Slept in. Itemized what I need to do tomorrow (call Straight Talk to get replacement voucher for busted phone, health insurance, job stuff) and looked at a day full of nothing and decided to see Jupiter Ascending and hang a bit with Marcus after.

So here's the thing about Jupiter Ascending: it's goddamn amazing. It's the movie every tween girl wrote. It's full of characters from every young gal's imagination. The men of interest in the movie lack the male power fantasy dynamic that is present in pretty much every other movie. Jupiter's costumes and makeup are perfection. It's so much damn fun and it made me yearn for a youth full of imagination and that lack of hindrance that comes with experience. I loved it. And the movie will flop. It's not what most people want to see, or expect to see, or like seeing. As fun as it is, it just isn't a movie that will speak to the masses, and unfortunately by masses I mean the guys who pay time and time again to see stuff. Argh.

Yeah.

I met Marcus at Shari's. I had pie, he had cocoa, and we talked Jupiter Ascending (I explained why it's so great) and television and other movies. We have very differing opinions and interests so it generally makes for good conversation (i.e. the trend of high waisted pants in the fashion design of the movie Her). It is so easy for me to spend the whole day at home, so I gotta take the initiative to get out more often.

And I put $8 of gas in my car, which actually was more than 2 gallons. Gas is going up, but it's still way cheap.

Friday, February 6, 2015

lights, wind, action!

Wednesday:

Another day of working from home! More photos uploaded, more TV watched, more sitting on the couch staying warm. It's been raining, raining, raining. I took a nice bath and read The Blazing World. Didn't leave the house for groceries. I can't tell the age of mice poops. I can't tell if they just showed up, or they've been here for a while and I haven't gotten around to cleaning it. So I'm keeping an eye on the surfaces I've cleaned.

Thursday:

Also didn't leave the house. It's so rainy! Just rain and rain and rain! All day. It's good for keeping everything wet and watered, but wow does it not want to make a person leave the house.

I did some more work from home research and finished getting all the items online with photos (well there's still another batch of things, but I'll save that for when I do the batch that I'm going to photograph tomorrow.

I forgot I was hard boiling eggs, and I heard popping and remembered I was hard boiling eggs. I don't think the pot is ruined, but those three eggs sure are.

Friday:

And my power went out right as I was finishing my post, so sorry that I was unable to get it up!

So my power went out, I called PUD and it was back an hour or so later, good for them! It was a sopping wet night for it, too.

Work was relatively laid back. I sorted out these usb cords and coaxial cables and got them in boxes. I did some computer stuff. I did some looking at antiques stuff. Some organizing. It ended up being a shorter day, but it was good to come in and work.

Afterwards I met Ma and Pa at Tizley's Europub in Poulsbo. A little up the stairs place, with beer on tap and schnitzle a plenty. I had the German Irishman sandwich, and half is saved for left overs. We chatted bird watching and travel plans and jokes and sass. A good dinner all around! And I paid my bills, but it's good to pay bills. Doesn't suck so bad when it's going to a good place.

I was all "here's car repair, and insurance, and insurance, and energy" and mom said "it looks more like margaritas in Mexico!" so that'll be good for them. Now I just gotta sign up for health insurance and I'm gold!

tempting the sickness fates

I won't be working on site again till Friday! But I've got more than enough on my end. In the past two days I've been adding items to the store, researching them, editing the descriptions, finding rough shipping costs, and also getting info for shipping the chairs! We sold them! Finally!

I did make a grocery run yesterday, but neglect to buy chips and dip. Oh well. I'll make another run tomorrow, just to...you know..get out of the house.

A CenturyLink guy came by to check our connection power.

But yeah, I've just been sitting in front of my computer doing my job. The online shop is getting mega huge now!

My body for a second was feeling like it might get sick, so I shoved more salad into it. Hope that does something. Some day I will get sick again, but it shant be today! Actually, outside of food poisoning, I haven't been properly sick at all in my 20's. I've had a few 24 hour colds but nothing really debilitating. I'm a super gal!

Homesman/Hourly

Saturday:

Celia and I went into Port Townsend for an Auntie & Niece night out. We got tickets to The Homesman, and then went to Hanazono and split an order of sushi, gyoza, tea, and ramen! A hearty warm meal. We gobbled it down and cleared our plates, then came time for Elevated Ice Cream! Because we still had time for elevated before the showing. I had the chocolate overload, and it was good as Elevated always is. I wore my long gabardine coat and felt like a detective.

Then! The Homesman! Tommy Lee Jones directing a women about the harsh West and women with mental health problems and compassion and stuff. A few bits of the movie needed more build up/clarity, but I'd rather watch a problematic movie that actually addresses the existence of women then another Nolan whatever.

Back at home I watched The Skeleton Twins and cried magnificently. Some movies have subject matter I just shouldn't watch. I drew two Hourly Comic Day comics, then went to bed.

Sunday:

Was woken up to find out that the chairs had sold! So I set about researching how to transport six dining room chairs to Brooklyn! Wow! Very expensive.

Today being February 1st means that it was Hourly Comic Day! So I did that alongside making a fire in the fireplace, eating pasta, cleaning the surfaces. The problem with coffee grounds is you want to make sure they are not mice poops, so I'm trading out the compost for a self contained little bin, instead of the side thing on the sink that leaks coffee grounds into the sink. Had a nice warm day. Worked from home. Started reading The Blazing World. Hopefully we can get the chairs out by the end of the day tomorrow!

Need to make a food run. Once I figure out UPS. Gas is ludicrously low.

Saturday, January 31, 2015

and the month is almost gone

Might have a lead on our chairs for work. I edited photos and organized the website. I accidentally turned off my alarm, so I wasn't out of bed till past noon. Whoops.

Trying to eat more salad. Salad out of a bag without many toppings beyond dressing, yeah...but still...veggies! Yay!

I got two mice in the glue trap, so I drowned them. I should get one of those electric mice wards. They only seem to be getting into that one room, but I don't want them getting further into the house. Least of all my food!

So mice. Work. Salad. And now English arctic murder drama: Fortitude! Luke Treadaway is in it. I like them Treadaway brothers.

west virginia strikes again

Wednesday:

Working at home continues! Did I mention that I was sent back to home work? I snacked. Made a fire. Worked on the documents and getting stuff onto the online shop. Not really the most taxing of days.

Thursday:

Worked some more from home but the main highlight was Dad! Dad came over to help haul some wood for firewood. I say help, he did most of the work. Some madrona had fallen, so we attached chains to some of the bits to the truck and pulled it out, and then cut it into smaller pieces ready for chopping. Got a good start to a new firewood stack going. We make a good team with all our hand signals, none of which are vulgar!

I also set out some glue traps to snag a mouse that has been in the dog room, and one of the traps got the mouse! But I...forgot to secure the trap. So it took some finding to locate the mouse. At which point we drowned it, just like I did in Missouri.

After our good day's work, we went to The Halfway House and got pie. I went for the chocolate which was tasty but not as good as the banana creme. I shall not speak of the crumble that Dad had.

He left while it was still daylight and I did my job stuff and had dinner and made a fire.

Now I've watched my TV and edited down the images I've previously torn from magazines, so that I can start a new compilation of images that I like. Gotta make a recycling trip soon. But first, more job work!

ladies who lunch

Monday:

Worked on site! And will work on site again on Wednesday. Things change so quick, but I'm open to it! Good to be not tricky. I mainly photographed things, and printed out more box labels. Pretty soon one of the rooms in the house will open up and I'll have more space to work in!

I got through three boxes, so that was pretty good.

I swung by McDonald's on the way home and got junk food for dinner. I know I KNOW bad food is bad for you. And the bridge was up, so that added another half hour to getting back home. I listened to podcasts and played with my phone till traffic got moving. There are a lot of cops out on the roads, probably because there are not that many roads for people to drive on and those kids dying really makes them wanna crack down on speeding.

Tuesday:

Met Karen at Monica's in Silverdale for lunch and we had a really nice chat! One of those multi hour conversations about all sorts of things, and I was left feeling like I still had so much more to talk with her about! She's so great. One perk of being up in this area, is I have some of my old friends back in conversation. Santa Cruz was lonely like that. Sometimes you need at least one person around who has seen you through your awkward stages.

We walked down to the park and looked at the birds in the feed store (people were blocking our puppy access). AND she gave me another free dress! This one was a freebie from work that wasn't her style at all. It's silk and has this great stripe on it. We were both ace fashionable as well, her in black pants and slippers and striped sweater with lightly curled hair and dangly earrings. Me in black pants, shoes, shirt, with my blood orange jacket. The most fashionable gals this side of the canal!

I swung by Trader Joe's and BevMo and got gyoza and signed up for membership discounts. Don't know how often I'll be near BevMo but I do pass by Silverdale whenever I visit Seabeck. Didn't go too crazy at TJ's. I could have. But I didn't. Though I did eat all the potstickers tonight, in two batches. No more potstickers for me. Womp womp.

I edited the photos I took and burned a CD with some of the jewelry photography I've done, to give to one of our clients.

And I got a fire going. Got the house warm and toasty.

At least I'm not scared of the dark...

Saturday:

Rolled out of bed and had some oatmeal and got laundry started, but I had to leave the house before folding it from the dryer. I set off for Port Orchard to see The Babadook at the Dragonfly! Ohh what a scary movie. I signed up for the VIP membership, so next time I'm at the theater I can grab my card and movies will be cheaper! Next movie will hopefully be A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night.

The projection of the movie was questionable at times, but still a very scary movie! And the lead actress plays Phryne Fisher, yet I couldn't have guessed that in a months worth of guesses. Excellent horror movie, I covered my eyes at several points, AND it is directed by a lady so go her!

Afterwards I was wandering around P.O. a bit and saw a piercing place and was like "might as well get my other ear done" so I went in and picked out a little tigers eye stud, and the people in the shop were really nice, and it hurt so much less than the piercing guns at Piercing Pagoda. Like barely hurt. Such an easy little thing.

I met up with Marcus at Hopjacks for appetizers and a beverage, and we caught up on film and the future and plans. Nice to hang.

I swung by Target and got some hair dye and nail polish, and then Walgreens for the saline spray to use to keep my ear hole clean. Then back home just a little bit more body modified. Folded laundry.

Sunday:

Did a bit more work from home. Watched TV. Dyed my hair. Took care of my ear. Hung out with Celia for a little bit. All in all, a pretty mellow day. Working on site tomorrow, so it's off to bed for me!

But I may not be on site again after that (for the rest of the week). Still have stuff to do at home.
