feeling better this day around

Got up at 9am to watch Doctor Who online with some other people across the globe. What an exciting life I lead. But hey, it got me out of bed bright and early!

Ma and pa were gone, so I just had tea and toast and then ramen with egg and juice and biscuits and stuff and sat and watched telly and thought about my life. Felt less morose than I did yesterday, about it all.

Had a really nice bath. A piping hot one. With fizzies! Such a hot bath.

I kept warm till ma and pa returned. Pa made a fire and some grilled cheese. We watched Portlandia. A bit of it hit a little too close to home, but oh well.

Now it is nearing midnight, but it feels much later. Tomorrow I shall get up and watch Sherlock. And then go hang with my friend Jared, his wife Jamie, and their kids Marlowe and Eleanor. A plan! A something to be done! Love it!

nothing again

I'm getting into such a mood. Buhhg.

Got up noonish. Didn't get up to much, even though I should.

We went out to dinner at the ale place in the Silverdale mall. My mac and cheese was okay.

We played a game of tetris. Tomorrow Ma and Pa will be gone doing something.

uh huh

Another day lacking accomplishment.

Did my internet thing downstairs in the green chair. Ate some cookies. And quesedilla for dinner. And poached egg on toast with melted cheese for breakfast. Did my laundry. Folded my laundry.

Yup.

slack bad trill

Still getting used to the idea that I can move my laptop from place to place much easier than I could before.

Helped dad with wood. Kept the fire stoked. Planned to do stuff...but ended up not doing it. I'm having a motivation problem. A major one. Not sure if I'll be able to get down to California for my birthday.

It is getting cold.

Dad made awesome burgers.

Watched Portlandia and Sherlock with mom.

gotsa start

Brought my car into the dealer. Traded it in. Now I am a Prius driver. There was a blue Prius 2 at the dealer. Apparently Ma and Pa wanted a 2, but went up to a 3 because they didn't know the former would be in. And blue is special. Oh well. Nate has a 2. Parents have to have the fancier car. It is a rule.

Another lazy day across the board in respect to other things. Watched some Doctor Who earlier on. Watched some other stuff later on. Need to draw. Need to work on my resume. Need to get it together.

Kinda scared to begin this life thing. Once I pack up, then it gets real.

something old, something new, nothing borrowed but its BLUE!

Ma and pa were gone all day, but they came back with a shiny new Prius! A blue one. A discontinued color. So it will draw lots of attention. Woo! They were gone, so I just relaxed at home. Didn't do much else. Did a couple doodles.

Dinner was fish and taters and broccoli. Yum.

Ma and I watched Downton Abbey. Now she is all caught up.

Damn, I need to get on the ball.

up earlier and out and about

Managed to get up earlier, because I stuck a note on my phone saying "Sherlock @ 12:30". If you know how to do it, one can watch television shows as they air live in foreign countries. Which is what I did. Got up, had some toast and tea. Got the video playing, and got into a wee chatroom with some awesome fellow Sherlock nerds. OH what an episode. The quality wasn't the best, but the company I had while watching it was tops.

After that, ma, pa and myself went to town! We went to Heartland Toyota and looked at Priuses. The plan seems to be to trade in my old Contour. I'll get our old Prius. Works for me. We didn't get the Prius just yet. After that we went to the Lions Park and walked about. Did we do something between that? I forget. From there we went to Best Buy, where Ma got a quite swish camera. I ran into my friend Jared, who I met in Japanese class at Olympic College way back when I was 16. Nearly eight years ago. Damn. But yeah, that was cool! He is in town for a bit. His wife gave birth to his daughter Eleanor. Lovely name, if I do say so.

We parted ways, and we went to McDonald's for a quick lazy dinner. Then we saw War Horse. It had some really good moments, some lovely cinematography, great casting, some really sad moments, but it also dragged at times. Still, another long Spielberg war epic. But he knows what he is doing.

Got back 9:40ish. It was nice to be out and about, even if I was just tagging along with Ma and Pa. So tomorrow is Monday, eh? I'll do something with it.
